You Don't Have To Learn Everything

It may all look new and shiny, but you don't have to adopt it all.

You Don't Have To Learn Everything

By nature of what we do as developers, we are drawn to learning. Because of that, we are susceptible to spending a lot of time learning and not enough doing.

I mentioned that I am looking for a CMS to use for my upcoming projects. That's entails quite a bit of research and testing.

During my research, I stumbled upon Blitz - a full stack React framework. I was almost drawn into the vortex of learning.

Luckily, in my Obsidian I have pinned on my home note a reference to that same article. I was reminded of what I was doing and what I had to focus on.

That small thing I did helped to remind me that I do not need to learn it all. I have the knowledge to do what needs to be done, and if issues arise then I will go acquire more knowledge.

That one step got me back on track when I was about to stray...

Obsidian coming in clutch!
